National Bike Week |

COMMUNITY organisations are urged to get on their bikes this National Bike Week to take advantage of an innovative scheme The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Cleveland (OPCC) donates unclaimed, stolen bikes to community groups, who can refurbish and re-use them. Over the past year, a total of 96 bikes have been been donated by the OPCC to good causes.
The OPCC is looking for more organisations, who could benefit. To qualify, groups must be able to:
The bikes must also be used for a purpose, which both benefits the community and fits with the values of the Police and Crime Plan.
